From the airport roundabout head for Merignac centre
and Bordeaux, then head due east on the D936 towards
St. Emilion and Bergerac.
Continue on this road passing
through Floirac, Branne (past) the turning for St. Emilion,
Castillon la Bataille, Ste. Foy le Grande to Bergerac.
From
here take the D660 towards Lalinde and Sarlat, passing
through Creysse and St.Capraise de Lalinde. At Lalinde take
the D703 direction Le Bugue passing through Sauveboeuf.
You will pass two left hand turnings sign posted to Ste Alvere,
one at the village of Pezuls and another a little further on,
ignore both of them. Continue along the D703 past turnings
for the villages of Paunat and Tremolat on your right.
As you
approach a right hand bend you will see on your right hand
side above you a large white industrial type hanger. As you
turn into the bend you will see a group of small signs on your
left marked La Plumardie, Borderage and Les Lavandes. Turn
left here and follow the track for approximately 1km. You
will come to a right hand bend marked La Plumardie, to your left you will see the sign for Les Lavandes near the Green letterbox,
continue straight ahead along "Long Lane" around the
field to the parking area.
