Although La Bergerie has two bedrooms, it is still available to rent for couples or singles and we have priced for this accordingly.
La Bergerie is a detached stone property dating back to 1710 which was originally a Sheep Barn (Bergerie). The entrance to the property is via the large covered terrace which has a wooden table and six chairs. To the left of the patio is the twin bedded room which has two single beds, wardrobe etc plus a toilet and wash basin.
The front door enters into the large open plan lounge kitchen/diner. The kitchen area includes a gas cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and electric kettle etc. We have tried to equip it with everything you could possibly need whilst on your holiday and Linda has received many compliments for the wide range of utensils that are included. The lounge includes two three seater settees, two armachairs and antique desk. There is a wood burning stove, DVD player, TV with French channels and English free to view channels via the Astra satellite and a CD/MP3 player. Please feel free to bring your own favourite DVD's. A dining table and four chairs and a small library with English books. The master bedroom has a double bed, two fitted wardrobes, an en suite shower room with wash basin and toilet. Outside is a large barbecue and views over valley.
Bed
linen is provided free of charge and all beds are made for you prior to your arrival. Towels are only provided to those of our
guests who are flying in to France. There are games and board games to say nothing
of our 3,000 English books. Outside there is a table tennis table and boule and 11x6 metre swimming pool.
Winter heating is available at extra cost.
